~an adventure in music~and a little fashion~

Do you love music?
This is where I post my music. One of my great loves in life. It's something I cannot be without. Carnival is my place to post what I'm listening to. It's really a blog for me, as I have rather eclectic taste in music and don't really expect many others to be right there with me! However, I do love when someone does find something that speaks to them, as has happened. Now that makes me so happy!
And please do take a peek there, just there above, where it says 'Music and Me' to see why I do.

These Days.

Listen here for more of

Here's a band we've been listening to over the last week or so, and I really wanted to share this video with you. I don't think it's an official video, I think it's probably fan made. But from the first time I watched it I've come back to it again and again.

Because it is just so incredibly moving.

It's such an uplifting song, and coupled with footage that is simply people dancing, it somehow breaks my heart, in a good way. Dancing is such a human thing, and done with such quiet joy and confidence and honesty, with no self-consciousness, that it becomes a thing of great beauty.

And watching it my heart is filled with such great love for humans. I can't explain it. But maybe one of you will get what I mean too. And even if you don't, it's a joy to watch, regardless.

And do turn up the volume a little!

Oh I've just been trying out my old Billy Barry tap dancing moves this. It is so infectious the dancing. The guy singing reminds me of Paddy Casey a little....although a more upbeat version of him!

Fiona! I never knew you were a Billy Barry kid!!! Oh your secret is out now!

Isn't this just gorgeous? We can't help dancing around the kitchen when it's playing. You'll have to play it to the wee man and get him dancing. :-)
